Application Scenarios

The Cat 5 (Category 5) foil-shielded cable is suitable for 100-megabit basic network cabling in environments with weak electromagnetic interference.
 Typical use cases include wiring scenarios near small electrical appliances, strong current lines, or weak current and strong current lines running together. It is mainly used for basic office computer networking, ordinary network printers, 100-megabit surveillance, small-scale local area network (LAN) construction, and the upgrading/renovation of old network lines. 
It is not suitable for environments with strong interference or high-speed interference.
